Eva Longoria & Tony Parker

Eva Longoria put on a brave face when we she was spotted Friday night at the opening of Ken Paves’ new hair salon on Robertson Blvd. It is true… A source close to the couple say “They did break up. It’s amicable. They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out.” “It’s distance and demanding careers and not living in same city. It didn’t happen yesterday. It’s been going on for a while.”

Last week it was the federal doghouse for bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman. Last night it was the house of God.

For the first time since his arrest by federal agents, the TV reality-show star made a public appearance at the Word of Life Christian Center on Queen Street, a church he regularly attends.

Chapman, his son and an associate were arrested by federal authorities Sept. 14 on an extradition warrant issued by Mexico, where the bounty-hunting team collared convicted rapist and Max Factor heir Andrew Luster. Bounty hunting is illegal in Mexico.

“Dog” Breaking Records

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

“Dog: The Family Speaks,” an A&E special about the recent arrest and possible extradition of Duane Dog Chapman, was seen by 4.5 million viewers Tuesday night. The show tied the network’s previously most-seen program – a “Dog the Bounty Hunter” special about Chapman’s wedding.

The broadcast set the record among viewers 18-49 for the network.

Chapman was arrested last week by U.S. marshals and released on bail. He faces possible extradition stemming from a 2003 case in which Chapman captured fugitive Andrew Luster, who was wanted on rape charges at the time, in Mexico, where bounty hunting is illegal.

Michael Jackson
After a brief stay in the Middle East following his self-imposed exile from the United States after being acquitted on sex charges, Michael Jackson has reportedly fell in love with Ireland and is possibly planning to buy a castle. He also wants to open a leprechaun-inspired theme park.

Michael is deadly serious about this idea,” a source told Ireland’s Daily Mirror. “He loves the whole idea of leprechauns and the magic and myths of Ireland. It would cost around 500 million Euros [about $635 million] to do. He’s always wanted to open his own theme park and he thinks Ireland is the perfect place and it will all be built around the leprechaun theme.”
